Client stories

Feedback from organisations that asked us to enrol agents, align policies, or find devices that had slipped out of coverage.

“They installed agents across our Durban office and warehouse scanners in one week. The exclusion list for our stock system took two revisions, which slowed Friday afternoon, but once it settled the false alerts stopped.”

Lindiwe Maseko · Operations manager, wholesale distributor · Endpoint Protection Setup

“Our written malware policy said one thing; the console did another. The alignment review gave us a ranked gap list we could take to the board without drama.”

Pieter van Wyk · IT lead, professional services firm · Policy Alignment Review

“The health assessment found eleven laptops that had never checked in after staff moved to hybrid work. We had assumed coverage was complete.”

Thandi Ndlovu · Office coordinator, clinic group · Endpoint Health Assessment

“Quarterly tuning keeps our USB rules honest when contractors rotate. I wish the change notes arrived the same day as the call, but they are thorough by Monday morning.”

James Botha · Facilities and IT, light manufacturing · Ongoing Policy Tuning

Longer project notes

Two engagements that show how setup and assessment work unfolds on the ground.

Stabilising a mixed estate after a rushed vendor install

A mid-size retailer near the harbour had agents on most tills but no shared baseline. Nightly backups triggered alerts, and staff had learned to ignore them. Service Hazelpoint rebuilt a pilot policy pack, documented payroll exclusions with named owners, and rolled the pack across 86 endpoints over nine working days. Alert volume dropped enough that the on-site supervisor started reading the console again instead of silencing it.

Preparing branch laptops before a busy season

A KZN services company added twelve remote laptops before peak season without updating enrolment. An Endpoint Health Assessment flagged missing agents and stale policy versions. We completed enrolment remotely, aligned update rings for intermittent connectivity, and scheduled Ongoing Policy Tuning so the next seasonal hire wave would not repeat the gap.
